Coffee Better At Work: Questions to Consider

While you don't have to roll with our specific coffee-upgrade suggestions, we encourage you to think through some important questions before you go making any major investments.

How much time do you have in the morning to make your coffee (how much time can you afford to this ritual)?

  • Do you have time to grind coffee and then brew?
  • How close is your nearest water source?
    • Is that water source filtered?

How many people are you brewing coffee for?

  • How much will your coffee cost?
  • How much will you be brewing each day (think about Fred who will probably drink at least three cups… Fred)
    • How many pots will you be brewing each day

How long will you want coffee available for throughout the morning/day?

If you’re grinding at your office, can you run your grinder, brewer, copier, and microwave off of the same power-strip?

Is your brewer right next to your pregnant co-workers desk?

Now that you've got a better idea of how much time and how much coffee you need to produce in the morning (and a general grasp of the resources you have in terms of water and electricity), you can outfit your coffee nook at maximum power!
