Alejandro Valiente and a team of agronomists from an organization called Cafénor are aimed at bringing excellent growing practices, higher premiums to farmers and overall sustainability to the Metápan region of El Salvador. The project currently works with 67 producers and includes notable achievements such as a solar-powered dry mill, 100% traceability and a fully vertically integrated supply chain. This lot is comprised of Bourbon and Pacas varieties, and it clearly demonstrates the hard work that has been put in to producing coffee in this region.
