Yunnan is known as the "birthplace of tea", as tradition indicates that this is the first area to which people have traced the consumption of tea. This Golden Yunnan is specifically from a village called Dazhai in the Pu'er Prefecture (a noteworthy area for their extremely popular style of fermented tea).
