This marks our third consecutive year sourcing Luis Alberto’s coffee from Regalo De Dios. This time we decided to go an extra step and release two of his coffees side by side. This coffee is a varietal called SL-34, known for its cup profile with high body, nice acidity, and strong fruit presence. In this coffee we get tropical notes like pineapple, juicy berries, and crème brûlée.

Luis Alberto is a world-renowned coffee grower who has a special focus on natural processed coffees. His farm is located in the Mozonte Municipality of Nueva Segovia, on the northern border of Nicaragua. He operates this 72 hectare farm (about a quarter mile) as well as Beneficio Las Segovias, a mill in the area. Alberto puts strong emphasis on consistency and care throughout the harvesting, processing, and cupping; and is unique in how far he takes his efforts to promote stable conditions during processing.
